1.In Harmony with Nature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rusutsu\u2019s forests and snow, as well as its rivers and groundwater, are invaluable partners to the resort. Each day we look for creative ways to draw on nature\u2019s power without harming it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.Together with the Local Community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Protecting nature takes teamwork with local residents. We collaborate as conservation partners\u2014co-hosting events, walking the forests to conduct surveys, and working together to safeguard our shared environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.Learning and Challenges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At Rusutsu, we offer hands-on programs\u2014such as \u201cgeo tours\u201d and fieldwork in nature\u2014that let children and students learn by experiencing the outdoors. In collaboration with subject-matter experts, we design curricula that can also be used for school trips and independent research projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.Careful Observation and Clear Communication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At Rusutsu, we do more than simply look at nature\u2014we monitor it.

    We record these phenomena with IoT sensors and monitoring equipment, transforming nature\u2019s rhythms into data that everyone can \u201csee.\u201d We then share what we learn\u2014via our blog, events, and other channels\u2014in clear, accessible ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \ud83c\udf3fNew Initiatives (from 2024 onward)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A new project has recently begun in partnership with university professors and geological specialists to study Rusutsu\u2019s water and forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Researchers push through the undergrowth, tracing subsurface water flows and revealing the hidden secrets of nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This investigation is built on the belief that \u201cunderstanding comes first in protecting nature.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The findings are presented at symposia, incorporated into educational programs, and applied to the future development of the resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
