The shower experience at Rusutsu Resort has evolved through a new initiative that boosts guest satisfaction while remaining environmentally conscious.

Rusutsu Resort has installed “Bollina Avanti” shower heads featuring ultra-fine bubble technology in all 507 guest rooms of the North and South Wings (excluding Wellness Rooms), aiming to further enhance the stay experience while prioritizing environmental sustainability.

This initiative improves guest comfort and simultaneously contributes to the creation of a more sustainable society.

The newly installed “Bollina Avanti” by TKS is a cutting-edge shower head that generates invisible ultra-fine bubbles. Its gentle spray cleanses deep into pores and is expected to provide moisturizing and warming benefits, making it especially appealing to guests who value beauty and wellness.

In addition, this shower head features a water-saving design that significantly reduces consumption compared with conventional models. Less water usage means less energy needed for heating, which in turn cuts CO₂ emissions. By preserving comfortable water pressure while minimizing environmental impact, it delivers both guest satisfaction and planet-friendly performance.

Rusutsu Resort has already been advancing SDG-aligned efforts—such as harnessing renewable energy and actively incorporating locally sourced ingredients—to build a more sustainable society. The recent shower-head upgrade is highlighted as “Story 6: Water Conservation and Environmental Consideration through Shower-Head Renewal” on the Rusutsu Resort SDGs website, and it also contributes to enhancing the resort’s overall environmental value.
